During my time at the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research as a designer I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects all related to research of different topics and degrees. The project showcased below is on of my best works during my time there.
Deliverables: Social media graphics, event decoration, building signage, and animations.
Considerations: Being under the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign brand, there is a lot of strict limitations. The biggest challenge was to create and execute a theme that stands out for campaigns whilst staying within the University branding.
Goal: The Cancer Center at Illinois was planning to host a informational/introductory event with the goal of introducing more of the general public to cancer research and the amazing new research they have been completing.
Deliverables: Branding, building signage, and animation.
Considerations: They wanted to stray away from the heavy research or scientific look with the graphics and instead create a more welcoming and vibrant theme that could bring more interest to the amazing research being done about cancer.
